DAY 01 / MADRID –
CORDOBA
High speed train to
Cordoba
(400 kms arrival in
about 1 hr 50 minutes)
The town was important
in the Roman age, but
during the Moslem period
specially the IX and Xt
centuries, when Cordoba
became the capital of
the Caliphate and the
most populated in the
world ( almost 1
million). Morning we
suggest to visit the
Mosque, considered the
nicest among the
historical mosques. Then
a walk around the Jewish
Quarter, with its fresh
narrow streets and
Andalusa “patios” ,
where we will find one
of the few perfectly
preserved Synagogues in
Spain.
DAY 02 / CORDOBA –
SEVILLA
Breakfast. We suggest to
follow discovering the
historical city. High
speed train to Sevilla.
(125 kms. Arrival in
about 45 minutes)
Afternoon a walk in the
Maria Luisa Gardens with
the monumental Plaza de
Espana is a delight. Too
the Royal Alcazares (the medieval arab
palace) is recommended.
Overnight at hotel.
DAY 03 / SEVILLA
Breakfast and overnight
at hotel. Morning
regular city tour. We
will visit inside the
Gothic Cathedral, the
largest in Spain and
third in the world, with
the Giralda tower
(striking minaret of the
former mosque). Then a
walk by Santa Cruz
Quarter, a maze of small
alleys with colourful
names stepped in legend
ad small squares with
the peacefulness of a
tiny garden is an
invitation to rest.
DAY 04 / SEVILLA -
GRANADA
Breakfast. Train to
Granada.
( arrival in about 3
hours). Afternoon to
discover the historic
city by your own we will
find numerous halls ad
“patios” (courtyards) of
amazing beauty.Tha visit
of the Royal Chapel and
Cathedral is
recommended.
DAY 05 / GRANADA -
MADRID
Breakfast and overnight
at hotel. Morning,
regular city tour with
visit inside La
Alhambra, the best
example of the
sophisticated Royal life şn the Nazari Islamic
kingdom in the XIVth
century. We will also
visit the famous and
beautiful Generalife
gardens with its
fountains..
Train to Madrid. (
Arrival in about 4 hrs
30 minutes) End of
services.

and Cordoba-Sevilla. Bur
Sevilla –Granada and
Granada-Madrid are not
high speed ( there is no
possible) , but they are
acceptable.
