professional surfer or a
windsurf lover, this
journey is just for you!
Firstly you may see the
culture and history of
Panama in the capital
city of Panama, Panama
City. The hotel is
located within the
UNESCO Heritage Site and
a short distance to the
downtown. You may visit
the world –wide famous
Panama Canal and across
the Pasific Ocean, you
may visit the local
communities called
Embera Indians and see
how people have been
living there since
1500s. And after the
time in Panama City, you
may go to Santa Catalina
and do windsurfing for
hours and enjoy your
trip!
1.
DAY: PANAMA CITY
After arriving in Panama
City, you will be
transfered to your hotel
in Casco Antigua which
is one of the best offer
for feeling the culture
and spirit of Panama.
Leisure time.
2. DAY: PANAMA CITY-
SANTA CATALINA
Getting to Santa
Catalina is easy but a
long way. We may offer
you 3 options: Buses,
taxi and cars. When you
take the bus (San Isidro
bus line) from Albrook
Bus Terminal, you will
go directly to Sona in 5
hours. During the bus
trip, there will be a 30
minute rest (meal stop).
You have bus choices: at
08.20 am, at 10.20 am,
at 12.45 pm, 2.20 pm and
4.20 pm. And then when
you arrive in Sona, you
will take the bus to
Santa Catalina
(approximately 1 hr),
and its departures are:
at 5 am, at 12 and 4 pm.
You can also get a taxi
to Sona. Leisure time.
3. DAY: SANTA
CATALINA
In Santa Catalina, you
may enjoy this little
region which is just for
surf lovers. There are
some hotels and
restaurants. You may
find some stores for
water sports. When Santa
Catalina was discovered
in 1970s by surfers, it
was kept as a secret for
years and now, a few
people have idea about
Santa Catalina except
surfers and people in
Panama.
4. DAY: SANTA
CATALINA
In Santa Catalina, you
may do windsurfing and
other water sports for
hours, you may enjoy the
nature of Panama and you
will witness the
cheapiest ways of
traveling in Santa
Catalina. It is one of
the most popular pacific
beach towns in Panama
and best offer for
surfing. Santa Catalina
offers you also a few
budget accommodation and
food options.
5. DAY: SANTA
CATALINA
You may depart from
Santa Catalina to Sona
(the choices:7 am, 8 am,
2pm) and it stops near
The Restaurant La Fonda
and then back to Panama
City via San Isidro bus.
