3 Day Cappadocia
Day 01:
Pick up from Kayseri Airport driving to Cappadocia. Hiking
downhill in Rose Valley while exploring some older churches.
Arrive in Cavusin Village, an old Seljukian and Ottoman
village, visit the Cave Mosque. After lunch time continue on
to Kaymakli Underground City, the place early Christians hid
from persecutors; Ortahisar with its castle. Overnight in
Cappadocia Antik House
Day 02:
Depart from the hotel at 09.30-10.00 depending on the
arrival time of the participants and visit the Devrent
Valley where animal-like natural formations like camels
and fair chimneys are abundant. Drive on to Pasabagi
in Zelve area where monks used to live in seclusion in rock
cut rooms. Proceed to the pottery town of Avanos
where Kizilirmak (Hallys), the longest river of Turkey,
meanders leaving the red clay on its banks that has been the
raw material of pottery for centuries. After lunch break
visit to the Pigeon Valley near Uchisar.
Continue on to Open Air Museum in Goreme to visit to
the early Christian churches decorated with unique frescoes
depicting various scenes from the Bible. Shopping time for
the well-known merits of the area. Overnight in Cappadocia
Antik House. Today also can make an optional balloon tour in
the morning before normal day program. (*).
Day 03:
Breakfast at hotel. Pick up from your hotel join Cappadocia
Tour at 10:00 am visit to
Mustafapaşa
Visit the youngest underground
cave church which was used by the Greeks in the1920's.
Strolling in this charming village you will discover the
beautiful Greek houses.
Keşlik
One of the largest monasteries in Cappadocia which has two
churches, one refectory, living rooms and a baptism font.
Taşkınpaşa
The oldest theological school in
this region has now become the site of ruins. Visit the 14th
century mosque.
Soğanlı
This is a spectacular canyon where you have the opportunity to enjoy nature,
explore the churches and see traditional village life where
people still inhabit the caves. Transfer from Ürgüp Kayseri

Optional Balloon Tour: 120 € per person
Cappadocia is accepted as the best place to fly with
balloons in the world by many pilots. The spectacular
landscape of the area makes this experience even more
breath-taking. You will pass barely over tree while touching
the leaves or float between the heads of fairy chimneys.
There are 3 different types of balloon flights in Cappadocia
changing according to flight duration and services.
Short Balloon Tours offer minimum one hour flight time on
the air. You are going to be picked from your hotel early in
the morning, usually before sunrise and driven to take-off
site. While you are having a light breakfast, you will also
see the inflation of the balloon get passenger brief which
explains basic rules about balloon flights. Right after the
passenger brief, highlight of your Turkey trip will start
and you will take-off gently. After taking hundreds of
pictures over the valleys of Cappadocia, you will land and
celebrate your flight with champagne. After getting your
flight certificates you will be back in your hotel around
08:30am. So you will have a full day for other activities
unless you want a nap.
