After a relaxed breakfast – This day we celebrate Holi and Witness local people celebrating Holi. We will proceed for safe area in city to witness and play Holi.

The most boisterous of Hindu festivals, Holi waves goodbye to winter and welcomes in spring in a rainbow of colours. In India it’s predominantly celebrated in the north of the country, and is quite rightly known as the Festival of Colours for the raucous events on Holi’s final day, when children and adults take to the streets throwing colourful gulal (powder) over each other. It is a festival of togetherness, It is a festival of forgetting all differences, And it is a festival of eating delicious dishes.

Holi is a time when Indians across the nation gather together with family, friends and neighbours to throw powder bombs, fire water pistols and splash coloured water as they run through the streets. Shops and businesses close down for the day, and on the eve of the celebrations a bonfire is held to remember the story of Prahlada and Vishnu.

While this is the mostly believed story, the myths and legends that surround Holi differ around the country, but the basic principle remains the same. Holi is meant to symbolise the triumph of good over evil, the importance of love and of happiness, and supports the formation of new friendships.

By afternoon back to hotel. Take shower and change the clothes. Relax at hotel. Dinner & Overnight in Jaipur.
